THE creative flair of students from Adaminaby Public School was showcased in a spectacular art show last week.

The exhibition, titled Artaminaby, was cleverly named by a former student of the school.

Works were all created by the current 18 students of the school, ranging from kindergarten to year 5, and utilised different mediums, including paints, oil pastels, ceramics, ink, and wool.

The students catered for the event themselves, as part of the very successful Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden program running in the school.

The event was well supported by parents and the local community, who attended the show and placed bids on the artworks via a silent auction.

Money raised from the exhibition will go towards costs involved for the school's upcoming production of Disney's The Little Mermaid on September 17 and 18.
