There was plenty of big air at Thredbo's Boost Mobile Snow Series.

THE first two stops of Thredbo's Boost Mobile Snow Series went off with a bang, as riders threw down to win part of the massive prize pool Thredbo has on offer this season.

Kicking things off, the rails event went down under lights at the snow play area, with Dj's in the Snow dome amping up the vibe.

Snow was falling heavily, as riders chose between their options of three different features, with a down rail, down box and a stall bar all for the taking.

A few new faces took out prizes in the hotly contested event, with over 60 riders throwing down.

It was sunshine and clear skies for the slopestyle come Saturday, where the terrain park crew put together an awesome mix up of jumps and jibs including a staircase feature, a flat rail and downrail into a set of three jumps ranging from 20-30 feet.

The sun softened conditions, making for a great session on the newly rebuilt Highnoon Slopestyle course.

Now what happens when you mix ridercross, off-piste terrain and the fall line of The Bluff? The big mountain event so appropriately titled "Banzai off The Bluff" which will be stop three of the series. Mixing in a bit of speed and a whole lot of skill, the event will send competitors off The Bluff into a mixture of manmade and natural features, to see who's got it when it comes to big mountain skiing! That's August 15 - one not to miss.

Entries are open to all and with over $25,000 in cash and prizes, the series isn't one the miss! Head to Thredbo's e-store to sign up!
