A trip to Boorowa greeted the Jindabyne Bushpigs last Saturday, where their aspirations for a top two finish went on the line. In a close affair, the Bushpigs class prevailed coming away with 24-17 victory.
The Bushpigs were given a scare against a winless Boorowa side who find themselves languishing at the bottom of the ladder.
A tough encounter looms this Saturday at the picturesque Jindabyne Oval, with Bungendore making the trip down the Monaro Highway.
A semi finals position is well and truly secure for the Bushpigs however their attention turns to the cementing a spot in the major semi final, thus allowing a second chance if they were to lose this match.
Whilst sitting in second place the Bushpigs know a loss could mean Crookwell pip them for second. With three regular season fixtures remaining in the competition all local rugby fans will be treated to some scintillating rugby.
