REPAIR works to the Lake Jindabyne Foreshore are now complete and access to the public has been reinstated.
During 2012 a combination of heavy rainfall, increased lake levels and strong winds had a dramatic effect on areas of Lake Jindabyne's Foreshore with Council having to take drastic measures to ensure that public safety was maintained.
Three main areas of the Foreshore were affected, Banjo Paterson Park, opposite the Jindabyne Caravan Park and the stormwater channel opposite Horizons Hotel.
Council completed work to restore Banjo Paterson Park prior to the Easter long weekend and the remaining work is now complete.
The only outstanding work is to restore the footpath opposite Jindabyne Caravan Park, which Council intends to complete once winter has passed.
