THE Snowy River GP Super Clinic was officially unveiled on Saturday. More than 100 guests attended the ceremony that took place in the evening including dignitaries, medical professionals, emergency service representatives, construction crew, community members and Council staff to celebrate this momentous occasion.

The evening was commemorated by Dr Peter Hendy, Member for Eden Monaro and Snowy River Shire's Mayor John Cahill by unveiling the official plaque. They were also joined by dedicated community members, Neen Pendergast and Bruce Hodges for the cutting of the ribbon ceremony.

"This official function is a culmination of years of hard work and dedication of our community, medical professionals and Council. It serves to demonstrate our Shires' ability to construct and deliver complex infrastructure for our community if sufficient funding is made available" explained Mayor Cahill.

"We will continue to strongly advocate with and on behalf of the community for increased health care services for this Shire."
