TWO Jindabyne Bushpigs have been selected for the Brumbies Provincial team.

Dave Akkersdyk and Matthew Caldwell will line up against The Australia Police Representative team on July 11 in the curtain raiser to the Brumbies and Western Force match at Bruce Stadium.

Their selection follows a great performance for the Monaro representative side at the Brumbies Provincial tournament in Jindabyne on the weekend.

They were joined by four of their team mates Liam Pepper, Jake Roarty, Josh Shortland and Steve Rompanenn in the Monaro side.

Monaro started the tournament with a convincing win over South Coast 79-14. They were defeated by South Australia 64-21 and had a narrow loss to defending premiers Southern Inland 41-33.

Akkersdyk and Caldwell will be joined by fellow Monaro representative, and Cooma Red Devils players, Ryan Morgan and Phil Johnson who have also been selected in the Brumbies Provincial squad.
