TAILS wagged a plenty during the RSPCA's Million Paws Walk held in Berridale on Sunday.
Around 40 humans accompanied 25 dogs as they walked around the town raising just under $500 in the process.
"Everyone had an exceptional time," RSPCA Cooma branch volunteer Annie O'Keeffe said.
Overall though, numbers were slightly down on last year's walk. The Berridale participants donated and bought a lot of merchandise which kept the money rolling in.
Prizes were awarded to a lucky few with standouts being in the best dressed dog event with a three way tie.
The event, now in its 20th year uses proceeds from the Million Paws Walk to support the ongoing work of the RSPCA.
"Funds raised here and in Cooma will stay in the area and assist the local RSPCA branch in the wonderful work that they provide to many animals," Mrs O'Keeffe said.
"The walk will be on again in Berridale in 2015 and we look forward to seeing lots of new participants and walkers to assist in the raising of much needed funds for our local RSPCA branch."
