TAILS will be wagging in Berridale on this Sunday as the annual RSPCA's Million Paws Walk gets underway at Lions Park.

The walk starts at 11am and will make its way around Berridale. With no hills on offer it makes for an enjoyable walk for all ages and capabilities.

Registration for the walk can be completed now via the RSPCA's online registration page at www.nsw.millionpawswalk.com.au or you can register on the day from 10am.

Organiser of this year's event, Annie O'Keeffe, hopes that everyone gets involved with a few new things added to the day's event this year.

"There will be a sausage sizzle and drinks for sale which will await the participants when they get back in the park after their walk," she said.

The day will also see some lucky dogs walk away with some prizes for best dressed dog, biggest dog, littlest dog, prettiest dog and hairiest dog.

"We had a great turnout last year with 70 humans and around 50 dogs making their way around Berridale," Mrs O'Keeffe said.

"It's also important to note that all funds raised from the walk in Berridale are used to support the valuable work that is done by our local RSPCA branch in Cooma."
