Police are still appealing for witnesses after an aggravated robbery at Thredbo during which an hotel employee was kipnapped before managing to escape.
Between 4 and 5am on Wednesday March 12), the hotel manager, a 25-year-old man, was in the reception area on Friday Drive, when a number of people entered.
They jumped the counter and tied up the man, before opening the safe and stealing cash.
The man was then forced into a stolen van, with Kosciuszko Thredbo signage, parked outside.
A short time later he managed to escape from the van, went to house nearby in Jindabyne and raised the alarm.
Police from Monaro Local Area Command rushed there and began an investigation.
The stolen van was later located in East Jindabyne.
Investigators are appealing for any witnesses who may have been in the area at the time and observed the incident or any unusual behaviour to contact authorities.
