Members of the Jindabyne Community Garden have planted their winter crop. Big and little hands worked hard throughout the morning preparing the garden beds and planting broccoli, cabbage, silverbeet and more.
The children loved learning from Jacinta Braun how to plant seedlings properly while being able to get as dirty as they liked.
The garden is a community run project, all residents are welcome to visit it - weed a little and pick some vegetables anytime.
The gardeners are in need of funds to finish garden beds and landscaping. Committee members will be at Nuggets Crossing this Saturday from 9-1pm, selling raffle tickets.
If you have skills to share, time to water, supplies to give or would like to donate funds, please contact Margaret Chalk President of the Garden Team, on 0418 610 986 or visit www.facebook.com/GrowJindy
