Champion mountain biker Tegan Molloy's drive and determination is an inspiration. Tegan has made an outstanding contribution to the youth of Snowy River by displaying her skills in a predominantly male oriented sport.
Her achievements have been significant, both locally and internationally in the sport, and last year placed third in the UCI Downhill World Championships held at Pietermaritzburg in South Africa. Most recently she placed first in her age group with the fastest female rider times.
Tegan was awarded Sportsperson of the Year of Jindabyne Central School from 2008 to 2011 and has recently been nominated for the Australian Junior Cyclist of the Year. She is on a scholarship with SERAS (South East Regional Academy of Sport) and is an Ambassador at Thredbo aiming to bring recognition to the mountains and activities in the summer season.
