David Warner's run of poor form continued when his return to the grade cricket crease lasted just nine balls after the opening batsman was caught behind for eight.
Warner made his debut for grade side Randwick Petersham against his former team Eastern Suburbs on Saturday one week later than he should have after he skipped day two of the club's two-day game last weekend. State commitments prevented him from playing on day one. He was sanctioned by Cricket NSW after the no-show.
Easts' quick Tas Yazdani claimed the prized scalp.
