One lane of Alpine Way has temporarily reopened between just west of Thredbo and just south of Khancoban in the Snowy Mountains after a recent rock fall.
Motorists travelling in both directions will be able to pass the site of the rock fall under alternating (stop/slow) conditions.
The lane will remain open until 10am Monday, 23 September.
Motorists should exercise caution and allow additional travel time.
Motorists are also advised to check www.livetraffic.com or call 132 701 before travelling.
