Nev Barrass enjoyed celebrity status on the weekend when his Thredbo Valley Horse Riding was featured on national television.
Channel Nine's Weekend Today show headed to Thredbo Valley Horse Riding on the Alpine Way early on Friday morning to film Nev bringing his horses from the mountains into the yards ready to start the day's work.
The weather gods ensured the spectacular alpine scenery had a dusting of fresh snow and some cute local kids helped out to provide footage of children learning to ride horses.
The segment was hosted by Weekend Today show's Emma Freedman, who delivered a live broadcast of the weather from Thredbo on Sunday morning and then cut to the pre-recorded footage at Thredbo Valley Horse Riding.
"If you like your horses like me, you can head down to Thredbo Valley Horse Riding," she said.
"They've got 2800 acres of alpine wilderness to explore.
"They can cater for beginner, intermediate and advanced riders. Nev and his team, they are sensational."
Ms Freedman stems from horse racing royalty, being the daughter of trainer and five-time Melbourne Cup winner Lee Freedman.
She looked comfortable as she rode one of Nev's brumbies and spoke about the good nature of the horses.
Ms Freedman finished the segment drinking billy tea with Nev in front of a fire.
