When you have a big air competition in the Efterski Festival at Thredbo, naturally everyone is excited as they watch the best in the business strut their moves.
So it is only fitting that the smaller "rookie" jump sees plenty of attention from all in attendance.
With this in mind and loads of local kids hitting the smaller jump it was only fitting that legend skier Chris Booth take time out to chat and do a few jumps with the kids.
It wasn't long before he suggested to Boen Ferguson to join in on the fun and the two of them were talking to a group of junior skiers and advising them on how to hit the jump and control their speed. After Chris Booth performed a very comfortable looking back flip they were hiking back up the hill to have another attempt.
This time is was rapid fire as Boothy flipped again and then Ferguson led the posse of kids one by one after each other and over the jump.
For a bunch of youngsters this was like heaven to have a ski and talk with their heroes who one day they will emulate and no doubt progress to the bigger jump.
