A burn off went terribly wrong last weekend, with sheds and vintage cars destroyed by the uncontrolled blaze.
The hazard reduction burn conducted around Steve Corby's property on the Dalgety Road, two kilometres from Berridale, got out of control on Saturday at 2pm engulfing two sheds and destroying a number of vintage cars and fences, along with about 28 hectares of grassland and trees.
The fire burnt through perimeter fences, stopping at the Dalgety Road, a handy fire break.
Rural Fire Service brigades responded from Berridale, Dalgety and Rocky Plain.
Fire investigators are investigating the fire.
