Ian and Karen Arnold of Snowy River Tyrepower in Jindabyne have been named as the company's Dealer of the Year for NSW.
Snowy River Tyrepower in Jindabyne has been named as Tyrepower Dealer of the Year for NSW.
Proprietors Ian and Karen Arnold are over the moon with the news after the announcement was made at a gala awards night and Christmas party in Sydney.
The store was selected from around 60 branches across NSW.
The couple also paid tribute to their team of three employees, tyre fitter Jack Sydenham, wheel aligner Luke Morgan and assistant managerAaron Pendergast.
A spokesperson from Tyrepower said anyone who had visited Ian and Karen's store will attest they were indeed, deserving winners.
"Their sense of community and pride in their business shows with the way they conduct themselves and present their store," he said.
"It is this, along with their indepth understanding of the local area and industry market, together with their support of national programs and suppliers, not to mention their friendly and professional customer service, which makes them a standout.
"It is attributes such as these that have helped them in their success in business and becoming Dealer of the Year winners.
"We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Ian and Karen and wish them best of luck for Sydney 2013!"
The awards ceremony was held at the Shangri-La Hotel in The Rocks in Sydney on November 24.
All Tyrepower stores are independently owned and operated and each store owner has an equal share in Tyrepower (Tyrepower is owned by the store owners). It is a cooperative not a franchise
There are five "regions" between Australia and New Zealand, NSW, Queensland, Western Australia, New Zealand and Region A which covers Victoria, South Australia, Tasmania and The Northern Territory.
These awards are judged with a common criteria made up of everything from customer service to store presentation.
After earning the NSW Dealer of the Year Award, Ian and Karen will go on to compete against the other regional winners for the highly sought after "International Dealer of The Year" award which will be announced in April at next year's International Tyrepower Conference in Sydney.
